For every stage of life
Anuvi provides women’s health care throughout adulthood, from preventive screening and contraception to menstrual concerns and menopause. These concerns can be discussed as part of regular family medicine or in a dedicated appointment.
The procedures available may depend on the physician, so let us know what you need when booking. Your physician will review your symptoms, medical history and goals, and some concerns may require an examination, testing or a follow-up appointment. For an IUD or contraceptive implant, the physician will explain the options, expected benefits, possible risks and what to expect during and after the procedure.
Women’s health appointments are booked privately and handled with sensitivity. You may request a particular physician — let us know when booking if you have a preference or if you believe you will need a procedure.
Medically necessary assessment and many procedures are generally covered with valid Alberta Health coverage. The cost of an IUD, contraceptive implant, medication or other supply may depend on your public or private drug coverage, and we will discuss any expected cost in advance.
