Everyday care
Family medicine covers most of the health concerns that come up throughout life. This includes new symptoms, ongoing concerns, medication reviews and help coordinating care with specialists and other healthcare providers. When you become an Anuvi patient, your primary physician gets to know your health history and follows your care over time.
You do not need to know exactly what type of appointment you need — tell us what is concerning you, and our staff can help you book appropriately. Your physician will ask about your symptoms, medical history and medications. Depending on the concern, the visit may include an examination, testing, treatment or a plan for follow-up. More complicated concerns may require more than one appointment to assess properly.
Routine and ongoing concerns are best booked with your primary physician. Same-day and walk-in care is also available for many new, non-emergency concerns. If your physician is unavailable, another Anuvi physician may be able to help and can review relevant information in your clinic record.
Most medically necessary physician services are covered for eligible patients with valid Alberta Health coverage. Forms, notes, third-party examinations and certain medications, supplies or procedures may have a fee. We will explain any cost before providing an uninsured service.
