Everyday care
Some health concerns should be assessed before the next available routine appointment. Anuvi offers same-day and walk-in care for many new illnesses, minor injuries and other non-emergency concerns. You do not need to have an Anuvi family physician to use the walk-in service.
This is not a complete list. Contact us if you are unsure whether your concern can be assessed at the clinic. Patients are assessed based on their medical needs and the clinic’s capacity. Wait times can vary depending on how many people need care and the complexity of their concerns. Some conditions require testing, imaging, a procedure or care at another facility. Your physician will explain the next step.
You may contact us for a same-day appointment or attend as a walk-in during clinic hours. You may see your usual physician or another available Anuvi physician. If you are an Anuvi patient, the treating physician can review relevant information in your shared clinic record. Availability is not guaranteed and may be limited when the clinic reaches capacity.
Anuvi is not an emergency department. Call 911 or go to an emergency department for life-threatening or rapidly worsening symptoms. Call Health Link at 811 if you are unsure where to seek care.
Medically necessary physician assessment and treatment are generally covered with valid Alberta Health coverage. Some medications, supplies and uninsured services may have a separate cost.
